Our client purchased an older farmhouse that needed some freshening. The original cabinetry was good quality and still had plenty of life to give. In this case, it was decided that a professional quality refurbish would work as nothing needed to be replaced, or shifted due to electrical or plumbing issues.

This was a very straight forward refurbish where everything was taken down, cleaned from top to bottom. The entire kitchen was quartered off from the rest of the house to be sure that everything in the remainder of the house stayed clean as the work was being done. All faces of the cabinets and drawers were taken, looked over for hardware or issues that may need replaced or fixed, cleaned and prepped for a quality finish. Our client picked a satin enamel white paint.

Once the doors and drawers were finished receiving their final coat of paint, the inside of the cabinets were then painted and the exterior remaining surfaces. Doors and drawers were reinstalled as well as new pull hardware installed.

Refurbishing offers the homeowner another option for a kitchen make over. Many companies do not want to refurbish a kitchen and we understand that. Sometimes however, it is what is best for the homeowner even though, it is easier for us to demo and replace with new.
