Rustic Cabin Getaway

The top left shows the building as we began the project.  The goal was to remodel the outside of this 12 x 18 ft building into a sweet little cabin getaway for the owners.

The owners also wanted to open it up and add more natural light so we placed 3 new windows on the East end,  catching the afternoon light.  The siding is a beautiful slab oak.    We used barnlap technique to give it a durable, rustic appearance and nature provided the beautiful patina in the tin roof to finish this cabin to perfection.   This little cabin sets on top of a hill and has incredible scenic views of Missouri, at it’s best!
